Cryes of London: Loves, Lives and Laments of England
A concert of sacred and secular vocal works of late Renaissance and Baroque England. The event will showcase music by Tallis, Thomas Tomkins, Gibbons and Purcell and culminate in excerpts from Henry Purcell's semi-opera King Arthur with guest, countertenor Alan Dornak. June 3, Tuesday, at 7:30pm Trinity Lutheran Church, 309 St. Paul's Ave.,Staten Island, NY 10304

O Magnum Mysterium: A Festival of Renaissance Lessons and Carols
Come and enjoy the mystical atmosphere of Renaissance carols in historic St. Paul's Memorial Church. O magnum mysterium by Tomas Luis Victoria and Giovanni Gabrieli are the bookends to this moving Christmas tradition. Dec. 22, Sunday, at 4pm historic St. Paul's Memorial Church, Stapleton, 225 St. Paul's Ave., Staten Island, NY 10304.
